A federal grant of $75.75 million has been awarded to complete the installation of fiber-optic cable for high-speed Internet service in 69 North Carolina counties.
Nash and Edgecombe counties are included, and the funds spent here will hardwire Edgecombe County schools, Nash and Edgecombe counties’ community colleges and Braswell Memorial Library. (Source: The Rocky Mount Telegram)
