R.I.P. Brenda Flowers Richardson expired today. Brenda is the mother of 2 children Cabriao Devette Flowers and Destiny De’na Flowers who expired during Hurricane Floyd 10 years ago. See the children’s names on the memorial.

Pinetops NC – Bynum Farm Road Will be Celebrating the 10th Year Anniversary of Hurricane Floyd Flood

The Bynum Farm Road Community Club will be hosting a 10 year anniversary gathering in Dodge City Pinetops NC where the Sheriff now has a training center. The event will take place on Saturday October 24, 2009 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

The anniversary date of Hurricane Floyd Flood is September 16 however due to other events going on on September 19, the club decided to wait until October 24.

Tarboro NC – Edgecombe to commemorate progress since Floyd

For many Edgecombe County residents, September 1999 is full of painful reminders of Hurricane Floyd’s fury and lingering presence.
