I Just Sit Back And Read What Other Folks Post And/Or Respond To On Blogs, Facebook And Etc.

Posted by Curmilus Dancy II (Butch) on March 21, 2012

Yep! I just sit back and read what other folks post and/or respond to on blogs, facebook and etc. I just love how so many folks will respond to things that are not important but controversial and important issues are less likely to be posted and/or commented on.

I use my blog and free sites such as facebook wisely and do not have time to play games and/or to respond to things that are not important to me. I appreciate those who send me request for things like adding my birthday but I don’t respond ya’ll because that is not important to me. I have so much other important things to post and/or to respond to.

I have so much to do that I don’t get to do it all in a days times so therefore the next day just add on to the things today that I may not get to.

Just a moment in education about where I stand when it comes to my blog, facebook and etc.

Kids On Facebook I Will Unfriend You If You Are Using Profanity

Posted by Curmilus Dancy II (Butch) on February 12, 2012

Kids I will unfriend you if you are using profanity. I will ask you nicely by sending you a message in your message box. If after a certain period of time you respond to me but do not remove your post with the profanity, I will UNFRIEND you.

Don’t you know your teachers and other grown folks are friends with you? You are being disrespectful when you post profanity here and you are not of age. I will not entertain you disrespecting your elders.

"I have no permanent friends, no permanent enemies only permanent interest."

If you don’t know me, "You gonna learn the day!"

Posted by Curmilus Dancy II (Butch) on February 10, 2011

Raleigh, N.C. — Social networking websites have literally become today’s "town square" – they are a place to reconnect with old friends and, sometimes, lost loves.

But local divorce attorneys say the number of cases that case they deal with involving sites like Myspace and Facebook are on the rise and that they might be the most high-risk behavior facing marriages. (Read more)

Note: This is sad just let your partner know you want out. How do they do it to their children just walk away and leave them. Oh well maybe it is not for me to understand. C. Dancy II – DCN Publisher

FACEBOOK, You Don’t Have To Have An Account To Be On

Posted by Curmilus Dancy II (Butch) on January 22, 2011

I hear people all the time saying they do not want to get a Facebook account. Several folks say that other folks tell them they don’t want to get on because it will mess up their marriage, boyfriend girlfriend status and/or other.

Well the conversation just tickles the hell out of me because Facebook is a social network site and if you have something to hide you may not want to get an account. I have no problem with Facebook, newspaper, tv station and/or whereby someone can actually put a picture or talk about me because I don’t have anything to hide. If somebody want to post a picture of you, talk about you you do not have to have a Facebook account because they can talk about you their account.

One guy told me that someone had called him and told him he was on Facebook and he said he didn’t have an account. Someone had posted a picture of him at a public event but he was not doing anything out of the norm. You see you do not have to have a Facebook account to actually be on because people can take pictures of you and talk about you on their account.

Facebook is what you make it. I use Facebook to educate and to be educated. Just like anything I see some mess on Facebook that I don’t care about especially the hardcore cursing such as the F-word, the use of the N-word and more. I especially hate it when women use these words.

Oh well Facebook is just like anything, there can be some good and some bad. I try to use it for the good.

Note: After posting this and after someone seen it on my Facebook account this person sent me a message to my inbox. The following is what he had to say.

“He said his wife had asked for a divorce after she met a Doctor on Facebook. Just keep praying 4 me because these things hurt a lot of family on my job alone last year many drivers lost their wives to facebook and chat lines. We have a prayer line on our job for drivers that goes through this stuff and some of our drivers be cheating on their wives because they got labtops in the cab and they are on chat with these women. You know it is bad when a couple can cheat right in the home while online instead of being on the phone and their mates are sitting right beside them.”

All I could say was this is sad. C. Dancy II – DCN Publisher

FACEBOOK Suppose To Be A Social Network Site But Some Folks Will Say Anything

Posted by Curmilus Dancy II (Butch) on January 9, 2011

It is so sad that some folks (especially children in school) will post anything on their FACEBOOK page where others can read it instead of sending it to certain friends via inbox and/or to their personal email.

It bothers me to see high school and college students post certain words that I don’t use in public and/or on FACEBOOK. I have seen some use the F-word and it really pisses me off to see a female use it.

Some folks uses the N-word as if it is cool. It may be cool to those whom they are referring to but it ain’t cool to everybody.

It is of my opinion that nothing should ever be said on FACEBOOK that can’t be repeated publicly. Obviously the children who post certain things on their page that I feel is unacceptable, their parents must not check their pages. I feel strongly that parents should monitor what their children are posting if they still live at home and attend public school and/or if they attend college.

Children you must understand that some of your teachers, your pastor, future employers and others whom you may come in contact with may see you as a negative person.

Teacher Loses Job After Commenting About Students, Parents on Facebook

Posted by Curmilus Dancy II (Butch) on August 19, 2010

Facebook users take note: If you want to keep your job, you’re better off doing your job-related griping offline.

Massachusetts high school teacher June Talvitie-Siple learned the hard way that a Facebook wall is probably not the best place to spout off about the students and parents in her community. (Source: ABC News)
