The t-shirt is for those who have taken a stance against the murder of unarmed black and brown men by mad white cops.
Johannes Mehserle, the former BART police officer who executed Oscar Grant by shooting him in the back on January 1, 2009 while he was lying face down in an Oakland train station only got 2 years in prison on November 5, 2010. "He got nothing!" "He got nothing!" Grant’s mother yelled as she left the courtroom, The Associated Press reported. "What you take from that is Oscar Grant’s life was not worth very much," said Attorney John Burris, the attorney representing Grant’s family.
"These mad white cops who have "MAD COP DISEASE" must be quarantined and dealt with severely by the justice system. While the majority of Law Enforcement Officers do an outstanding job, there are a large number of white cops who have been infected with the disease," said Errol. Four white New York City police officers shooting a black unarmed Amadou Diallo 41 times while his hands were in the air 10 years ago, and the Oakland shooting of Oscar Grant in the back while lying face down are the most egregious examples of white cops who have been infected with the disease.
It has happened, is happening, and will continue to happen until one of these "diseased" cops are made an example of. Until the root is plucked up, the fruit will continue to grow. White suspects get a 5 minute window while an unarmed black man gets 50 rounds! Even decades after the Civil-Rights era, a white cop shooting an unarmed black man is barely a crime. Mad cop disease makes white cops kill black cops and unarmed black men even while lying face down justifiable. As Kai Wright wrote in the aftermath of the Sean Bell verdict, "American Law has been sanctioning the killing of black people to mollify white fear for centuries!" The "STOP!
