My condolence goes out to my family on the loss of a love one Clarence “Fella” Battle. Fella suffered from a stroke some time ago and never recovered. Fella expired on Tuesday morning around 5:20 am.
Fella is my first cousin my moma the late Dorothy Graye Horne Dancy’s nephew.
Fella is the son of the late Annie Mae Battle Hanson. His siblings are Bettye Battle Cannon and Ruby Battle Parks both of Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
Fella is the father of Michael Brown of Rocky Mount NC and Gerald Battle of Raleigh NC and was married to their mother Margie Brown of Tarboro NC.
Fella has 3 aunts my mom’s sisters Nancy Horne Freeman, Lillie Belle Horne Randolph and Bertha Battle, one uncle James “Bushy Boy” Horne, my mom’s brother.
