Poultry plant opponents weigh legal options–Rocky Mount Telegram

Southern Nash County residents have hired a law firm to investigate whether there are grounds to overturn the county’s rezoning of property that would allow a poultry processing plant to be built there.
T.C. Morphis, an attorney with The Brough Law Firm in Chapel Hill, has asked county officials for meeting minutes and other documents related to the county Board of Commissioners Nov. 1 rezoning of the property at the southeast quadrant of N.C. 97 and Interstate 95. ( Read more)

Along with those developments, Gessaman said that other important developments for local economies are how hospitals and medical facilities can become economic drivers.
