I would like to add that I will be holding folks accountable more than ever. It is time out for a whole lot of shucking and jiving.
Some folks are in the business of criticizing others but what in the hell are they doing? Are they living up to the titles they hold or whomever they say they are? Well I will be tracking what you say and do. If you say you are about making a difference in the black community well you will have to show me.

From the Publisher – Folks It Is Not Business As Usual Anymore
Recently I received 2 invitations to attend events in the twin counties. One of the events are looking for a donation and the others there is no donations involved but asked that I bring my camera. I am quite sure the other invitation hope that I would attend and bring my camera also because they know I normally video everywhere I go.
I have been videoing capturing history of Edgecombe County especially since the early 90’s and doing it out of my pocket. I have recorded many things and didn’t charge a dime however you would thought they would give a donation but not.
I don’t know of anyone who can come close to capturing history over the years on video (VHS) however I wish I had all of the recordings on DVD because I have videos at 2 aunts house and some got messed up due to the lack of storage. DVD’s are so much easier to file.
But back to my point. I used to try to be everywhere all the time and have tried to figure out how I could be in more than one place at the same time. I have even paid to go to events, videoed them and gave them a copy of it. I used to take off work using my vacation time going places capturing people and events and several years ago I began taking digital pictures.
I have always been independent and never liked asking anyone for anything. I always said that one day if I needed someone I feel that I could go to these folks. My daughter asked me when she was about to graduate from high school a couple of months ago to send all of my friends an invitation to her graduation because she know how much I have given of my time helping others. I didn’t want to do it but she kept asking me did I send out invitations. I sent out the invite over the internet so I could show her the format that I used.
I have hundreds of DVD’s not counting the old VHS videos and thousands of digital pictures on several SD Cards which are in my Kodak Gallery online and I have 90 plus albums on my Facebook page.
I want to thank all of my supporters who send me donations and/or give me a donation to video for them.
So folks it is not business as usual anymore. I will not be trying to attend everything and will be picking and choosing where I go, what I video and take pictures of. I will not continue to promote folks who don’t give a damn about civil rights but about themselves.
