So who are the persons in your town/county who are speaking out on issues?
With all that is going on in our local communities who are the persons individuals not organizations that are trying to make a difference? These people are not scared to speak truth to power and are consistent in what they say and do. You don’t have to like them or agree with them, I just want to know who are speaking out on issues. These persons may speak out via meetings, personal blogs and/or commenting on other blogs, facebook/twitter, newspapers, radio/tv or other public sources.
When something is going on and you need to call someone who are the person/s? You may not have called them yet but you know you could call them because you feel like they could help you with your issues or they could direct you in the right direction.
I hope you can name yourself along with others but if you can’t then what you gone do?
I am going to start my list here and continue to add names as they come to mind.
The reason why I am asking this is because I see so many folks talking about what is going on on the national level but what about the local level. Who are holding our local elected officials/community leaders accountable for their actions?
