TARBORO — Dec. 7, 2011 marked 20 years of a second chance at life for me.

On Saturday, Dec. 7, 1991, I had worked because the health center was in the process of computerizing medical records, which had to be completed before Monday morning. Since I did not know computers that well, it was a challenging day. At the end of the day, I went to pick up my son, but he wanted to stay with his father to watch a football game. I allowed him to stay but wondered why I concurred with his request. Time would tell. (More)

Response: This is an awesome story. Shot that many times and at that close range and still here is just awesome and unbelievable. I remember when this happened because her dad and my dad worked together and I remember my dad coming home talking about it. C. Dancy II – DCN Publisher
