CHAPEL HILL — A police tactical team of more than 25 police officers arrested eight demonstrators Sunday afternoon and charged them with breaking and entering for occupying a vacant car dealership on Franklin Street.

Officers brandishing guns and semi-automatic rifles rushed the building at about 4:30 p.m. They pointed weapons at those standing outside, and ordered them to put their faces on the ground. They surrounded the building and cleared out those who were inside. (Read more)

Fox News Reaction Demonstrates Why Harassed Victims Retreat To Silence

Posted by Curmilus Dancy II (Butch) on November 13, 2011

A few weeks ago, allegations of sexual harassment against Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain became public. As two women stepped forward to publicly recount what they allege happened in the 1990s, Fox News rallied to Cain’s side. The network launched a vicious smear campaign against his accusers in an attempt to discredit their testimonies and tarnish their characters. In one example typical of the venom at Fox, Dick Morris stated of one Cain accuser: "I look forward to her spread in Playboy." (Read more)

Gloria Cain Fox News Interview: Herman Cain ‘Totally Respects Women’, Claims Don’t Ring True – Source: HuffPost

Posted by Curmilus Dancy II (Butch) on November 13, 2011

Herman Cain’s wife says sexual harassment allegations facing her husband don’t ring true because he "totally respects women."

In an interview with Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren that is scheduled to air on Monday evening, Gloria Cain stands by her husband’s side. She said she could not believe the charges levied against him, telling Van Susteren: "I’m thinking he would have to have a split personality to do the things that were said." (Read more)

Response: So my question is did his wife know about the settlements before they came out recently? I would think that since they were supposedly settled out of court that she possibly didn’t know about the allegations. This may explain why she took it harder than he.

Oh well I am going to continue to follow Cain to see who is lying the women or him. Curmilus Dancy II – The Political Agitator

The public hearing on the annexation is one of four scheduled for the 7 p.m. meeting. The other hearings are about three rezoning requests and about proposed amendments to the land development code.

I can’t wait to see how many folks are going to show up and voice their opinions. Oh well they will not attend but have so much to say after it is all said and done.

Attention Obama Haters: What If The Bible Is True? by Annette Boyd Lee

Posted by Curmilus Dancy II (Butch) on November 13, 2011

Will your hate of this man be worth the price you may have to pay?

I am reading this book by Annette Boyd Lee and it is very interesting. I even called her and spoke to her on the phone about a month or 2 ago. Very sweet person.

I concur with the writer that, “Contrary to what the title may cause you to think, the book isn’t an attack on anyone. Rather it is called to self-evaluation of the heart with regards to this President. The hatred that has been exhibited by so many against this President is personal, not political.”

The author is a native of Clinton, South Carolina and is a graduate of Presbyterian College in Clinton and a Gulf War Army Veteran.

Barbour: Romney "not a true frontrunner"–Source: Face the Nation

Posted by Curmilus Dancy II (Butch) on November 13, 2011

Response: I just recently posted that one would think the Republicans would get together and choose a candidate that they all could support but they can’t. For folks who like surveys, I find this quite interesting “The same survey shows that Republicans believe Romney is the most electable candidate by a significant margin – yet he still trailed Herman Cain in the poll’s overall approval rating.”  Curmilus Dancy II – The Political Agitator

(CBS News)  Despite Mitt Romney’s consistently placing at or near the top in polls of the GOP presidential field, Governor Haley Barbour, R-Miss., says he’s "not a true frontrunner" – even if he is "the best known of our candidates."

Barbour, in a Sunday appearance on CBS’ "Face the Nation," said there is no real frontrunner amid the 2012 GOP candidates, in part because he thinks Republicans are more focused on unseating President Obama than picking a candidate who shares their views. (Read more)

Cain Has Another Issue With Women: Taxes – Source: The Root

Posted by Curmilus Dancy II (Butch) on November 13, 2011

GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain’s controversial tax plan may cost working women more overall than their male counterparts, writes Chicago Tribune columnist Clarence Page. It’s because women are disproportionately likely to be single parents and to have lower wages, smaller pensions and more medical problems, he writes, citing census statistics. (Read more)

Perdue blames bad economy for NC endowment setback Source: The News & Observer

RALEIGH, N.C. — Wrapping up a fierce election cycle in which her campaign raised or borrowed $18 million, Beverly Perdue declared three years ago she wanted to find a way to reduce the money chase in North Carolina gubernatorial politics.

The Democrat said during her 2008 campaign that once elected she would form a panel designed to lay the groundwork for a private foundation. The foundation would offer money to candidates in 2012 who agree to strict outside fundraising limits and avoid negative campaigning. (Read more)

Message To White Folks Who Call Me A Racist

Posted by Curmilus Dancy II (Butch) on November 13, 2011

Okay time to make some things clear.

I am an outspoken black man who is not afraid to say what I mean and mean what I say. I am free.

I hold all people accountable for their actions and I ask that all people hold me accountable as well. I have no problem with being held accountable because it makes me a better person and keep me in check.

I ask that God keep me in my right mind so that I will not give you nor anyone anything to be able to say I told you so when it comes to my character and abiding by the law. Am I perfect? Hell no!! I do not profess to be, however I strive for perfection in every thing I do be it from the smallest detail in the moment in whatever I am doing. When I act a fool, I want to be the best fool and when I am about business I want to be the best at what I do.

I love it when white folks call me a racist. They say they can tell by reading my blog. Well many of them do that by going to my blog one or a few times but I have have 1,000’s of articles posted there on just my current blog not counting the 2 other previous blogs that I have links to from this blog.

What tickles the hell out of me is I spend more time holding black folks accountable for their actions because for me it has been black folks who continue to keep us right where we are politically. Hell yeah I have experienced some issues that white folks are responsible but we all know that but how black folks deal with that has been my problem. I recognize and understand that if black folks were to come together we could change things that affect our community.

I put white people and other people in categories. I am so glad all white people are not the same. This is why when I call white people racist I say racist white people in which I say that to make it clear that I am not talking about all white people. So if you do not fit in that category what is your damn problem?

Call me a racist and whatever else you like but always remember I know who I am, whose I am and nothing else matter. However I am not going to allow you to say ignant mess about me and I not respond. You see I know that if people only hear one side of a story that is what sticks with them but will not be that way in my case. I will do what I do challenge you.

Yes I talk about Racist White Folks on my blog but I also talk more about the Safe Negro. I also asked the question, Which is Worst?

But one thing I do know is that I will continue to hold all people accountable for their actions all the days of my life.

So in my closing you can call me a racist however you can’t call me asleep because I am a very knowledgeable about what is going on around me and I will speak up and speak out on issues and people that are dear to me and I don’t give a damn who like it.

“I swore never to be silent whenever human beings endure suffering and humiliation. We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.”- Elie Weisel

“I am for justice and I don’t care who it is for or against!”

“I have no permanent friends, no permanent enemies only permanent interest!!”

I am Curmilus Dancy II and I love you and it ain’t nothing you can do about it. I may not like your ways but as a person the love is there.

So God Said, “Big Daddy Cain” For President

Posted by Curmilus Dancy II (Butch) on November 13, 2011

There has been cases where the candidate that spent less money won the election.

I am trying to figure out why certain black folks continue to say that we should give Cain a chance and that black folks will choose "Big Daddy Cain" over "Our" current President. "Big Daddy Cain" has not impressed me but otherwise continue to make black folks look ignant.

Comparing himself to "Moses." LOL!!

I am wondering did God tell some other folks what he told "Big Daddy Cain?"

But when I think of "Big Daddy Cain" I came up with this, "Ignorance will never end. Even those with money can’t buy SENSE!!" Author: Curmilus Dancy II The Political Agitator
